VOLUNTEER
Becoming a volunteer with our Animal Rescue Center is easy! Just stop by and pick up a Volunteer Application anytime during business hours. Once approved, our Volunteer Coordinator will be in contact with you to give a tour and get started with our program. Volunteers play an important role here and help us in many ways including:
- Socializing: Help animals be comfortable around new people
- Enrichment: Stimulate senses by playing with toys, giving treats, and spending time
- Exercising: Encourage play time such as dogs fetching balls or cats chasing a toy
- Cleaning: Sanitize items used daily (cages, bowls, toys), sort newspapers, sweep, mop
- Photography: Capture pets on camera to promote their adoption
- Grooming: Bathe pet if needed or brush coat

All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and have an approved Volunteer Application before starting.
